"Team R.O.EYE" (l-r) Amy, James, Matt, Rich, Dan, Mark
Well we did it! A gruelling training regime, intensive ice baths, resistance workouts and nutritional supplements were just some of the things we didn’t try before undertaking the challenge.
For those of you who don’t know what I’m referring to – several members of the R.O.EYE team, or should that be “Team R.O.EYE” took part in the Great Manchester Run last month.
Step forward Amy Swatkins, Richard Wright, Daniel “Gabrielselassie” Austin, James Skelland, Mark Kuhillow, Chris Blower and Matthew Holden.

Richard Wright pushes the envelope
We didn’t put our bodies on the line for nothing however. We ran for our chosen charity, Action Duchenne, whose aim is to find a cure for Duchenne, a severe genetic muscle wasting disease.
A massive thank you must go out to everyone who donated money towards this cause! Seriously thank you guys, you made those last few painful kilometres worth it! It would be unfair to mention individuals by name, because any amount pledged is very gratefully received, however we were all extremely indebted by some of the donations made by you guys.
